Sassenach had her first lead training yesterday and I think she done very good :-D
We only needed a few minutes until she understood the game - what a clever girl

Sassenach has finished her lead training a few days back and so it was time to take her to the car boot sale for more training :-)

Sassenach had another bath today :-) She is such a beautiful and elegant lady and is now ready for her very own family <3 <3 <3 The decision between her or Siraya was surly not easy. Neither of the girl is "perfect" when looking as the Breed Standard but yet they are both amazing the way they are and their parents fantastic health screenings and DNA test did not leave me much room for making a decision. So I kept monitoring my pack, I watched them play and interact with the Puppies and it seems that Siraya is the better match so I have decided to keep her.
Sassenach is a very calm and easy-going Puppy. She has a strong bond to me and loves to follow. She can be a bit nervous in new siuation but she has already learned to just stay close to me and so she will relax very fast.
I am happy to let her go as a future breeding dog as her genetic make-up and allover quality are a great step forward for the Partis but she would do an amazing pet too!
She is clear through parents for: Degenerative Myelopathy, Hyperuricosuria, MH (Malignant Hyperthermia), Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures (NEWS), von Willebrand disease Type I and Type II (vWD I &II), Cone-rod Dystrophy (cord1-PRA / crd4) and Osteochondrodysplasia
Her VGL DNA screening results are:
Hap 1: 1003/2001 .... Hap 2: 1016/2001 ... IR: 0.01 ... HL:0.32 ... H:11 ... R:11 ... C:20
Thats not too bad for a Parti :-D

A nother few busy days went by :-) The weather is still quite wet so our walks and playtimes have been either limited or veeery muddy lol I would really like to share some photos of the Puppies from the playtimes in the garden, but there is no point in taking photos as we hardly had any sunshine which is a big shame. But I will catch up with it as soon as the weather is a bit better.
However, our Puppytraining is coming along nicely and Sassenach and Sari have been out and about too :-D
Sassenach has been to Felixstow on Sunday. We had a lovely walk at the beach, had a look at the casinos and a quick walk over the market. She has been such a good girl on the lead and off the lead, bless her. She was at first a bit unsure about the casino due to the noises and lights, but she soon started to relax and was laying on the floor together with Castiel while I was trying to get the toy out of the mashine :-D Lots of people have stopped by to look at the doggies and taked to me. Sassenach and Castiel where not bothered about it and they happily stayed at their place. Almost everyobe wanted to pet the dogs which I normaly would not mind but as Sassenach is still in training I had to disagree to the petting and kindly explaned why. Everyone understood me and thought that we are doing a very good job, but a few also asked me for what the Puppy is beeing trained so I replayed for being a "Family Pet" :-) YES! Even a family dog needs to be trained and if you want to have a perfect Dog, then make sure to raise a perfect Puppy ;-)
