La Vita is affected by herediteble Cataracts. She has retiered from my breeding program.

This sweet little girl will soon be here with us, to make my pack a bit more complete. But it will still be a long time before she comes and until than I will keep this page up to date with photos of Kim la Vita.

Kim la Vita is now with Bärbel, Ahed and the Kluntje-Clan for her 6 month holiday. She is 8-10 weeks in the photos.
La Vita is 4 month in this photo. She is 46 cm and about 13 kg. La Vits blood test was successful, so this means that she will come to us on the first Oktober weekend 2009.

La Vita has setteld down straigt away. She is a very playfull dog and loves to run with her sister and Lilly. We have already been to the petshop, vet and into the town and she is fine with all of it. I also bathed and trimmed her and there where no problems. Carmen has done a really good job in bringing up this 2 sisters. Here are new photos of her.

La Vita is such a fantstic girl - the ideal familydog. Easy to train, calm in the house but playfull and cheaky outsite, easy going with other dogs, fantastic in the public, very obediant, loyal, ... I think I could carry on with this list but that would take to long. She is mad for her ball, like Lilly and her sister Kijara. Lavita is the happiest dog on earth when we take the ball with us when we go for a walk. And the best is , I don´t have to carry the ball on the way back home - she will do it.

I think La vita looks stunning after she brough up a litter of 11 Puppies. Her Puppies are 5.5 month.

La Vita had her first groom after our "winter break" hihihi I do like to keep my doggies very fluffy during the cold time of the year so that they feel confident. It will still take a few weeks for her to grow enough coat on her legs to get her all back in shape, but for now I am just happy with her new style hihihi

La Vita has had her yearly eye examination today. I am not sure whether I was looking forward to it or whether I was more nervouse :-/ I knew she is affected by Cataracts, but I was hoping so very much, that the Cataract is progressing SLOWLY! We where all keeping our fingers crossed for her :-) And yes La Vita´s eye are not to bad at all :-D The Cataract is so very small - in both of her eyes - that she very likely does not even know she has it and thats why I still can´t see a change in her eyes. I will still get her tested regularly to see how she is doing, but for the moment we are just happy for her <3 The Vet at Animal Health Trust has also taken a DNA sample from her and her sister Kijara as they are working on a DNA tested for Cataract ... hopefuly - if they get enough sampley - they will be able to offer a DNA test for this disease soon. So if you have a dog who is affected by Cataract PLEASE do not hide this dogs, but rather get in touch with Animal Health Trust as they are still in need of more samples !!! Thank you xx

It surly was time to get rid of all that thick coat :-) La Vita is such a stunning girl and she would look even better once I found time to trim her front legs lol ... hopefully after her next bath xx

La Vita has been shaved before the summer but her coat does grow fast and thats how she looks now :-)
